What You Need: 2 red plastic plates, gallon-size zip-close bag, scissors, sequins and gold stars, gold or silver glitter, stapler.
How You Make It: Cut out just the center of both plates. Put some sequins, stars and glitter in the bag and seal. Place bag between the plate rims (adult job) with the sequins in the middle and, holding securely, staple around the edge of the plate, catching the bag in between. Cut off plastic hanging over edge.
This project was found in a book called Star-Spangled Crafts by Kathy Ross.
