Here’s another take on the egg carton Easter basket, this time using 2 sections from the carton. Fill with 2 kinds of candy or treats!
What You Need: egg cartons; paint and other decorations; 2 pipe cleaners; scissors.
How to Make It: Adult cuts out 2 sections of egg carton, keeping them together. Let kids paint and otherwise decorate the baskets. Once dry, adult pokes holes in either side of basket and attach 2 pipe cleaners, twisted together for handle.

This quick bunny craft is great for Easter or anytime.
What You Need: paper plate; red or pink pom pom; 2 cotton balls; black marker; red or pink construction paper; glue; scissors.
How to Make It: Cut out ear shapes and glue to back of plate. Glue on pom pom nose and cotton ball muzzle. Use marker to add mouth, whiskers and eyes.

Pre-cut a bunch of egg carton cups, set out random craft supplies and let kids make their own little Easter baskets!
What You Need: Egg cartons, construction paper for handle; various decorations such as markers, sequins and glitter.
How to Make It: Adult cuts out egg carton sections. Cut construction paper handle and attach with glue or brads. Decorate with paints, sequins, markers, etc.

How to Make It: Adult cuts toilet paper tube in half width-wise. Let child paint, paper and otherwise adorn the cups, each of which can hold a decorated Easter egg!

Here’s a quick, fun craft that doubles as a treat holder!
What You Need: 1 paper lunch bag; scissors; yarn; 2 pom poms or cotton balls; black marker; pencil.
How to Make It: Adult uses pencil to draw ear cut-out shape on front and back sides of lunch bag and cut along lines. Use yarn to tie ears together. Child decorates bag with marker and pom poms.
